I have to be honest that I saw a great many fireplace screens which had absolutely no chance of blocking the meters or the ash which the fire blew out, but they looked so gorgeous that I wanted to buy them all. With this in mind I think another important piece of information which I can offer is that you should always focus on function and fireplace safety over style. In doing this you will ensure at the very least that after you have spent far too much money on this item, that it will indeed serve its purpose.

Large Item Importance

Now that I have seen the artistic takes which so many have looked to do with the fireplace screen I can honestly say that you should treat the purchase of the fireplace screen in the same way that you would treat any big item in the room. This means that your fireplace screen is now going to become a talking point, it is going to become a key aspect of the room, not just some piece which fades to darkness. Owing to this you have to buy the fireplace screen which fits in with the rest of the room’s color palette and which also matches up to the overall theme of the room. A fireplace screen which looks modern in a country-style space just doesn’t work.
